Michael Trueblood is a freelance photographer living in New York City. He studied painting and printmaking at The University of Tulsa and Ohio University before moving to New York. Trueblood works as a post-production artist and digital printer consultant for other photographers. He is currently working on a book of New York street photography.

CrossWalks is an evolving body of work informed by street photography, photojournalism and fine art photography. Straightforward and direct, the images reflect an environment that is kinetic and constantly in flux like the demographics of our cities and towns. Walking the streets, crossing a bridge, riding a bus, or sitting in a restaurant looking out the window can be a process of discovery. The work invites deliberate moments of quietude. Each photograph is a visual inroad to walk in step or to stop in contemplation with folks we might otherwise overlook.
